Irish Daily Mail Response

Posted on December 7th, 2011
The Associated Newspapers, the parent company of the Irish Daily Mail and Irish Mail on Sunday has responded to the letter sent today by SU President, Ryan Bartlett. They said the editor had personally responded to and apologised to those that had complained about the article, and also that an apology was included in yesterdays edition of the Daily Mail. It is hoped that a written response to the letter will arrive before the next SU council. At that meeting the current suspension that prevents the papers being sold in SU Shops will be reviewed.
