National Protest on Wednesday

Posted on November 13th, 2011

The time has come to make sure your voice is heard. We, along with thousands of students from around the country, will be marching to government buildings to draw attention to the issues that have been raised by students over the last few weeks. Trinity students will meet in Front Square at 12.30pm this Wednesday. If you would like to take part in the sleep out on Molesworth Street after the protest at 6pm you will need a sleeping bag, warm clothes and a tent email president@tcdsu.org if your interested or just stuck finding a tent.

Watch this video. In it, Trinity students talk about how they would be affected by an increase in fees. If it doesn't affect them directly it will affect their siblings or their friends. Read through the booklet.

Show your support on Facebook and Twitter by putting the Stop Fees twibbon on your profile picture. Come to the SU stands in the Arts Block and the Hamilton at which we'll be giving out Stop Fees wristbands. JOIN THE PROTEST!

You all deserve the chance to come back next year, this budget could take that away. Come to Front Square at 12.30pm on Wednesday to protect your education and give others the chance.

If you need to speak to someone in the Students' Union you can check our contact details or you can contact us directly.
