The SU Bookshop is an online resource where students can both buy and sell previously-owned academic textbooks. It functions as a virtual marketplace which connects students wishing to sell with those seeking to buy. There is no fee involved in using the site.
Click on the 'Book database' link to access our online database of books for sale. The books are divided into categories for ease of perusal, and we also have a search function (this can come in handy if the seller has accidentally listed a book in an incorrect category). If you wish to purchase one of the listed books, use the Contact Advertiser button to make an offer, and initiate contact with the seller.
Please note that the Students' Union cannot guarantee the condition of listed books, and all transactions are entered into at the buyers' own risk.
If you're looking to sell your used textbooks and make a bit of extra cash, you need to create an account. To do this, simply click on the link below. You'll need a name, Trinity email address, and the ability to think of a password. Once you verify your account (by clicking on an email link we'll send), logging into the Bookshop section of the website will bring you straight to the 'Sell Your Book' form, which is quick and easy to complete.
Your ad(s) will remain live on the website for 10 days, after which point you'll have the option of renewing the listing. If someone is interested in purchasing your book(s), they'll click 'Contact Advertiser' on the listing, and we'll email you their message. The details of the transaction, including final price and payment method, are entirely at the discretion of you and the customer.
If you have any questions about our online bookshop, from searching and buying books to advertising your own books for other students, you can find the answer on our FAQ section.
