Welfare Officer Aoibhinn Loughlin

Hey! I'm Aoibhinn, your Welfare Officer. I'm here to help with the big and small things, whether you're feeling down and need someone to talk to, or you're worried about a friend, or even if you'd just like a few free condoms!

It's my duty to make sure everyone has a safe and happy time here in college, so I run campaigns like Mental Health Week, and sit on college committees in order to try to make that happen. I represent all the students here, who come from many backgrounds and identities, so whatever you're going through, don't hesitate to drop me a wee email on welfare@tcdsu.org or call me on 083 847 3215 and I'll be there.

Always here if you need anything at all :)

Here's what I'll be getting up to for the next couple of months:

A: Assist students in distress

  • Peer Support System
  • Casework
  • Drug policy and campaigning on drug issues

B: Promote student safety and health

  • Consent workshops
  • Back-to-College campaign

C. Improve the student environment

  • Nap Room
  • Gender-neutral bathrooms
  • Student spaces

D. Ensure the smooth running of student services

  • Accommodation Advisory Service
  • Green Light system for office hours
